In this position I worked with project analysis and management using Java, MySql and Eclipse IDE technology. It was also part of my role to develop research related to Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) where I have used Conditional Random Fields (CRF) model to create techniques to predict outcome probability in law cases based on a large Portuguese law cases corpora.

My main achievements working in this project was to investigate computational linguistic approaches to automatically abbreviate English words. Also, design and run an evaluation study to test the readability and user preference of abbreviations techniques.
